Units of the American 7th Armored Division continued to hold out against the Germans, concentrating around the town of Rodt. The town was a crucial objective in the brigades' westward advance, and Grossdeutschland was ordered to eject the American forces from Rodt in order to clear the road for follow-on elements.
Objectives: Your company is tasked with taking the objectives along the road to the southwest. Your platoon will move south then west along the road to the objectives. One platoon will support your platoon as it moves to the first objective, the other platoon will support your platoon as it moves to the second objective.
